What is politics
A little boy goes to his dad and asks, "What is politics, Dad?"
Dad says, "Well son, let me try to explain it this way. I am the head of the
family, so call me the President. Your mother is the administrator of the
money, so we will call her the Government. We are here to take care of your
needs, so we will call you the People. The nanny, we will call her the
Working Class. And your baby brother, we'll call him the Future. Now think
about that and see if it makes sense."
So, the little boy goes of to bed thinking about what Dad has said. Later
that night he hears his baby brother crying, so he gets up to check on him.
He finds that the baby has severely soiled his nappy. So the little boy goes
to his parents room and finds his mother sound asleep. Not wanting to wake
her, he goes to the nanny's room. Finding the door locked, he peeks in the
keyhole and finds his father in bed with the nanny. He gives up and goes
back to bed.
The next morning the little boy says to his father, "Dad, I think I
understand the concept of politics now."
The father says, "Good son, tell me in your own words what you think
politics is all about."
The little boy replies "The President is screwing the Working Class while
the Government is sound asleep. The People are being ignored and the Future
is in Deep Shit."

Vrooommm!!! I completed "on night @ the call center" - by Chetan Bhagat in just 1 n 1/2 day... now that shows how good it was... :)
I heard about this one when i met some Guys in Pune during my FUG meet last month. But work pressure was so much that i never tried going and getting one to read.. Ah.. so lucky i m .. my friend Vinay did a big favor by lending it to me..
After reading it.. i really feel..wow!! i was an awesome piece... I liked the way ..the Flash Back was brought in.. the way the one liners where used.. ofcourse a story with a bit of love keeps me reading.. :)
Anyways.. after 48 hrs our new Site will be Live.. and my two months work will be up and ready for users..

Why Social networking Din’t worked the way its meant for…
… I had a brief chat on it with my friend cum entrepreneur ..tho we both think very much on the same line.. but not this time.. he thinks ORKUT and Facebook is doing good.. “I say : NO its not…” OK!! Said he… and asked me to support my point (well this is the first time in my life .. I thought of replying to such calls…usually I just walk off when I feel the person infront of me is stupid or not willing to take my point.) I started on in with a pause.. just to recheck myself : and asked him a favor to point out some features of Social networking.. which he excitedly agreed on..
Martin, you know coz of ORKUT I have more then three hundred friends on my list..
ME: Wow!! Thatz really cool… I know you are a party animal.. J
He : So .. that means .. I am using the power of social networking.. and its working…
ME : You are using the power of social networking..?? dude.. are you really saying that…
HE: Dude.. yes I am..
Me : I really donn think soo..!!
He : Ok ! now u are acting like my stubborn brother..
Me : naa!! Man.. I am not.. let me tell you why I feel Social networking is not working the way its mnt for…
He : now donn become an Advocate of your view..
Me : give me some sec’nd
He : ok.. Meanwhile I do some orkuting… :P
Me : I feel.. its not working coz.. if you check out your MSN + Yahoo! + Gtalk Buddy List … and add it up.. then check with your ORKUT or Face Book List… you will hardly find..couple of people missing.. so that means they are already connected to you in some or other electronic medium.. (I am not counting my Phone book)
He :
Me : hellllloooz
He :
Me : ah! Guess you are too busy scraping or peeping into someone’s scrap book… :)
Me : Anyways.. let me finish what I wanna say ..
Me : Orkut and facebook are really made to make new friends ..get connected with people who think alike.. people who have common goals.. get going with people who we might not even got thru coz of geographical reason or may be some other ..
But do we do.. so… is the people from India are ready to takeup or try to do so..??? No we don’t …
We just login to orkut as a morning prayers .. we chkout our scraps.. (97% scraps are from friends whom we are on IM too… 2 % Spam.. and 1% are from community- which is of any use…) We reply to them.. if found a good looking pic.. we tend to have a look …that’s it..
So wherez network?? Happening..
Me : Fucker..!!!!!!!! u slept???
He : Nope nope nope!.. was registering on bigadda.com
He : you carry on I am goin through your chat..
Me : Ah!!!!!!
Me : GOOD!! You better do it..
He : Man … I take your point but I am not convinced…
Me : ok done! Let me get into it ruff now..
Checkout your friends list and cross check if u have made any new chick a friend just by checking her profile… I am sure u must have checked loads of profiles .. and must have thought linkup.. well linkup doesn’t mean asking her out for a date… hmmm !! now tell me have you managed to make one good friend..?? outta it.. Dude.. we don’t add people working under same roof.. coz of fear or coz of shitty attitude.. how can u expect a networking to work..
Me: See .. I am very clear on networking part.. it is meant for making friends and being connected .. which I really donn see it happening.. anywhere.. some stupid feels there pics will be used so they remove it from profile pic and act as they are very much into the social networking.. there are some Commited people even.. (spl from india) who just waste the resources.. they Signup..fillup up no details.. except the mandatory details and sit ideal and except no body to peep into there profile nor do scrap… hehey isn’t it funny enf..?????
He : Martin… if I think seriously. You are right to some extend. We really never try to connect to people whom we wish to be connected, just because he/she might act or revert rudely. I can check with stats on Dating in India which makes it clear that we people are not that open to make new friends or to share some scraps/hand shakes.. Yep. Even I noticed that most of the commited people do nothing other then sharing some Same old crappy Jokes and cant forget “FORWARDS” I feel they are just here coz everybody is here… nothing else.. what say?
Me : Ah! Guess I convinced someone …. :)
Me : yeh man.. I have a school..chick on my list…she will never scrap.. but will take time to send at lest 3 forwards a day to “To Friends” .. hehe.. I guess they use Orkut as some mail service .. LOL..
HE : LOL!!!! Same here….
He : Will take this chat forward some otherday.. you know I am not good in comingup so quickly on what I feel. So lets catch someday with @ ____ will get my laptop so that we can checkout some real stuff. Say what?
Me : Coo!! Not an issue atall.. Do bring latest crush too.. I assure my lipz will be sealed …
He : LOL!! Done
Well I really don’t know ..was he convinced or not..but who care.. :) it’s a no gain no loss scenario .. so ENJOY.

On photographing babies: Funny..
The Smiths were unable to conceive children and decided to use a
surrogate father to start their family.
On the day the proxy father was to arrive, Mr. Smith kissed his wife
goodbye and said, "Well, I'm off now. The man should be here soon."
Half an hour later, just by chance, a door-to-door baby photographer
happened to ring the doorbell, hoping to make a sale. "Good morning,
Ma'am", he said, "I've come to..."
"Oh, no need to explain," Mrs. Smith cut in, embarrassed, "I've been
expecting you."
"Have you really?" said the photographer. "Well, that's good. Did you
know babies are my specialty?"
"Well that's what my husband and I had hoped. Please come in and have
a seat".
After a moment she asked, blushing, "Well, where do we start?"
"Leave everything to me. I usually try two in the bathtub, one on the
couch, and perhaps a couple on the bed. And sometimes the living room
floor is fun. You can really spread out there."
"Bathtub, living room floor? No wonder it didn't work out for Harry
and me!"
"Well, Ma'am, none of us can guarantee a good one every time. But if
we try several different positions and I shoot from six or seven
angles, I'm sure you'll be pleased with the results."
"My, that's a lot!" gasped Mrs. Smith.
"Ma'am, in my line of work a man has to take his time. I'd love to
be In and Out in five minutes, but I'm sure you'd be disappointed
with that."
"Don't I know it," said Mrs. Smith quietly.
The photographer opened his briefcase and pulled out a portfolio of
his baby pictures. "This was done on the top of a bus," he said.
"Oh, my God!" Mrs. Smith exclaimed, grasping at her throat.
"And these twins turned out exceptionally well - when you consider
their mother was so difficult to work with."
"She was difficult?" asked Mrs. Smith.
"Yes, I'm afraid so. I finally had to take her to the park to get the
job done right. People were crowding around four and five deep to get
a good look"
"Four and five deep?" said Mrs. Smith, her eyes wide with amazement.
"Yes", the photographer replied. "And for more than three hours, too.
The mother was constantly squealing and yelling - I could hardly
concentrate, and when darkness approached I had to rush my shots.
Finally, when the squirrels began nibbling on my equipment, I finally
just had to pack it all in."
Mrs. Smith leaned forward. "Do you mean they actually chewed on your,
uh...equipment?"
"It's true, Ma'am, yes. Well, if you're ready, I'll set-up my tripod
and we can get to work right away."
"Tripod?"
"Oh yes, Ma'am. I need to use a tripod to rest my Canon on. It's much
too big to be held in the hand very long."
Mrs. Smith fainted!!
